I have a headphone that i have been using for two years. I like using it for a reason: first , it has good sound effects, but this is not the only reason that i love it. This headphone can make me see my dreams, it makes me see what i wanna see. It makes illusion.
It's white with red lines on it,it has a red wire as well, and it's quite fashionable. It has two soft ear muffs, which i like the most. This headphone was a gift my mom brought me on Christmas the year before last year. It looks just like other headphones, but after the first time i put it on, everything has changed.
I was thinking about a book called " Silence", which was a love story of a girl who hadn't spoke since she was five. I put the headphone on, and suddenly, i saw pictures of the characters i had been always imagining: Cole and Oakley. I saw they were together and watching a movie in their house, Oakley was the girl who didn't speak. She was shine, and Cole was looking at her, then they kissed. That was the happy ending i'd always wanted for them, however, in the book,that didn't happen.
The second time I put it on I saw my favourite character: The Amazing Spiderman. He was so energetic, and he was saving people's lives in the Times Square. He was my super hero and I couldn't believe what I saw.
This headphone has brought me amazing experiences and I even have emotions with it; I can feel it has the same feelings to me.

Final draft
The differences in three leaves
Autumn is almost over, and winter is approaching. The leaves are so beautiful on campus, and I collected three leaves on the ground, which will be compared and contrasted. Although they all look pretty “ autumn”, they have huge differences.
The first one is the largest one among three, and the second one is smaller than the first one, then the last one is the smallest. The second one and the third one has similar colors, which are a little reddish; where as the first one is medallion, which is like light brown. The second one is the most beautiful one because of the distribution of its color. It is wine of the right side of the leaf, and the bottom is likely to be yellow. The second one also has a red stem, so does the third one. However, the first one has a brown stem, and it seems to be torpid. The thing that they are in common is that all of them have little black dots on their leaf, which are intensive. Plus, the second leaf has a hole on it while another two don’t, it also has a red mark, which is like a special birthmark. The third one is totally blush, which is like pink, but darker than pink. The interesting thing is that they represent the fading of a leaf, because the third second one is red and yellow, so I assume that it is the youngest one, because after the green color faded, the yellow appeared;then the oldest one is the one with medallion color,which is the first one; the middle one is the third one because it is red and it is not fading totally.
I picked these leaves on the ground outside Hurley Hall, and they just left there. Suddenly, I can see their beauty even though they have left their mother trees already. All of them are maples somehow, but they have some differences. The beauty of leaves require us to explore.

Review
for the Fall Play: Galileo
Are the myths about Galileo Galilei true?
What is the truth about Galileo? This was a mystery until I watched the Fall
Play show about Galileo yesterday. During 16th to 17th
Century, he has played an important role in the scientific revolution during
the Renaissance. He was an outstanding man who also invented thermometer and
pendulum. Yesterday’s show was very
impressive, and it showed who Galileo really was.
To begin with, the story was basically about
how some people didn’t believe about Galileo’s theory about the planets, such
as Jupiter. People at that time were blinded in front of truth, they even
didn’t believe what they saw. This was the basic controversy in the show.
However, one of Galileo’s zealots Andrea believed what he said and told. Andrea
followed him and Galileo taught many things about science to him. Galileo’s
passions about science and truth were very intensive in the show. He did not
really care people’s discussion about he stole the idea to make a telescope, he
just believed in himself. He proved Copernicus’s theory, which was that the sun
was the center of the universe instead of the Earth. Plus, the royalties were
very mean to him and some believe that he obeys the god’s wills. However, he
still insisted in digging and exploring the new world of science.
There were many conflicts in the story, and
when I watched it I was a little confused since many actresses act different
roles in the whole show. Besides, I could not understand very well about what
the character was saying since they spoke too fast and I couldn’t follow.
In addition, the part that I liked the most
was when the priest was talking about god. The set was very impressive, and the
costumes that the priest wore were beautiful, and it did show the personality
of the priest. The combination of the light and lyrics was perfection. Besides
that, another part that I liked is the failure of the engagement of Galileo’s
daughter and Ludovico Marsili. It was because that Galileo insisted in doing
his teaching to the students who followed him that he failed his daughter’s
engagement. His daughter was very sad and passed out.
Then I want to talk about the preparation of
the show. The props and costumes did bring people back to 16th
century. However, there were some flaws about it that I have to mention. The
costumes were not very delicate since they are a little big for the characters
such as Galileo and Andrea. The costumes are very important to the show; for
example, the clothes for the actress who acted Galileo were big and not proper,
which makes her petite, so that the audiences would feel that “Galileo” is not
confident or eloquent If the costumes were better, the visual would be
changed, and the whole appearance of the actresses and actors would be renewing.
However, the whole set of the show was good, and the actresses knew how to use
the stage properly. For example, when Galileo had a conversation with Ludovico
Marsili, she stepped on the floor, so she looked taller. This was important
because it showed Galileo’s confidence.
In general, the show was impressive and
they did a great job. If it was me, I could not remember so many lyrics and
confidently act it out. The show made me have a new and vivid view of Galileo.

Brecht
Playwright Eugene Berthold Brecht was a theater practitioner of the 20th century who is well-known by his plays and poems. He had a considerable influence on theatre in 20th century.
He first began writing while he worked at Army Hospital, and He studied in the Munich University for drama He has contributed a lot to the dramaturgy and theatrical production. From his late twenties, Bracht remained a lifelong committed Marxist who, in developing the combined theory and practice of his " epic theatre" to explore the theatre as a forum for political ideas and the creation of a critical aesthetics of dialectical materialism.
One of his most important principles was what he called "the defamiliarization effect ", which involved stripping the event of its self-evident, familiar,obvious quality and creating a sense of astonishment and curiosity about them.
In addition, his impact is very crucial. For example, by the 1970s, Brecht's plays had surpassed Shakespeare's in the number of annual performances only in Germany.

He was an outstanding many in different areas including physics, philosophy, engineering ,astronomy. He had a reputation been called " the father of science." He has contributed quite a lot to the scientific field: he invented a telescope that could observe the planets. He was also credited with the invention if the first thermometer in 1606. And his achievement in astronomy is very out-standing； he observed the moon with craters , mountains,valleys on it; he observed the sun and he discovered the sunspots. Anyway, he was a successful scientist.
Unfortunately, he died of heart palpitations and a long fever on January 8,1642, at the age of 77. A few yeas before his death, during his house arrest and only months before he became completely blind, Galileo made his last telescopic discovery and determined that the moon exhibits monthly wobbles on its axis. Anyway, his contributions played a major role in the scientific revolution. It is a shame that he's gone so quick.

Dear Ms. Guarino,
I am so sorry that I didn't not hand in my homework because I lost it days before. I have done it a three days before you assigned us. I am really sorry about that , and I expect you to understand. I did finish it three days before, but something went wrong the day before yesterday.
On the day before yesterday, I was carrying my bag with my homework in it on my way t the weight room. I went straight to the weight room after I went back from Cheshire Coffee; I realize that I need to work out a little bit. Then I put my bag in the weight room first, then I got out to take a leak. I was in a good mood that day and everything went so well. However, when I was in the bathroom, a girl was sitting on the ground crying. It seemed like she was a freshman, and I found that her leg was bruised. Then I asked her what happened, she said that she flipped and fell on the ground. I was worried so I helped to get her up and sent her to the health center. Then I went back to the weight room, but when I tried to open the door, I found that I couldn't because the door was locked.
I was so anxious because my bag with my homework was in the weight room. I went to the weight room at 4:30, and I wanted to work out for half an hour. Then,I took a look at my phone, it was already 5 pm. I looked around and see if anybody could offer some help. Unfortunately, no body was in the office. I was so worried then I rush to the community life office and see if someone could help me. Again, they were having a meeting, which means that I was helpless. What ifs someone stole my backpack that I left in the weight room? So I thought that the weight room would be still open at 8 pm. I went back the weight room at 8 pm and see if I could get my bag back. And I had such a bad luck; weight room was closed because it was in a mess these days. I almost freaked out, but I finally found someone in the office.
" hi, have you seen a colorful backpack in the weight room in the afternoon?" I asked,"No, I've never seen a colorful bag in the weight room, did you leave it there?" " course I did", " okay, but I heard that someone found a colorful backpack , it was found by one of the workers who cleans the weight room." "Thank you"
I went back t the weight room again and knocked the door heavily. One man came to me and opened the door. He said " weight room is closed now, for cleaning." " course I know, I just wonder if anyone found a colorful backpack." He answered " yes, I did."
" what?why didn't you ask if someone lost it, that's mine!" I exclaimed. " chill out, I can give you now." " oh no, the backpack is empty!" Who stole my homework ! " I just found it like that" he said. " what? It's impossible!"
In the mean while, I turned around and I found that a woman is holding a bunch of trash with my name on a piece of paper. " wait up!" I screamed. Before I even ended my word, she throw my homework into a disgusting trash an with sticky water and other stuff in it. "No....." I cried.
Tit turned out that the homework slipped out of my bag and the cleaner thought it was some trash paper, so she threw it. Then the worker in the weight room found my bag which was locked in the weight room for the whole afternoon.
That is the reason why I didn't have my homework with me, but I still did it. Please believe this was true, I did not lie about a single word, because it really happened to me.
